altwith an alternative text description. Images for design are not used in this version of 01010. This is because I think it looks fine without them, rather than being done with accessibility in mind.
Visual Design
- 01010 uses cascading style sheets leaving the content less cluttered and still readable without visual styling.
- 01010 uses relative font sizes, allowing the user-chosen "text size" option to be used in visual browsers.
- 01010 uses a server-side style switcher to allow easy switching between dark text on light background and light text on dark background. Page and font-size can also be altered without using browser "text size" option and is optimised for 800 x 600 pixel screen resolutions and above.
Standards Compliance
- All pages on 01010 follow W3C guidelines for structure and semantics. H1 tags are used for main headlines, H2 tags are used for main titles, H3 H4 and H5 tags for other titles. This allows screen-reader users to easily skip from section to section.
