Broad Background

Hello! My name is Peter Moulding and I live in Preston Lancashire England. Amongst other things I have worked in transport, building, mining, engineering, retail, education, nursing, insurance, accountancy and computing sectors. I have been "playing" with computers and the internet for several years now primarily because I enjoy it, and enjoyment is what life is all about, don't you think?

Good Technical Ability

I am completely self-taught with regards to IT, so my understanding may be patchy as I have learned on a "need to know" basis, but I believe I now know enough to do a great job for someone. I am very proficient with CSS and XHTML and have used the Textpattern CMS long enough to competently design, set up and maintain feature-rich, standards-based web sites.

Good Brain, Good Heart

A first-class degree in Communication, Information, Media Studies and Social Sciences has given me a good understanding of issues that surround us every day so I can find gold nuggets amongs the informational debris. But I found that university mainly taught me the depressing side of life. Life itself taught me its wonders and the joy of every breath. If only they would teach that at college!

Focus

What you get with me is a very content person with a varied background and whose main ambition in life is to enjoy the breath I am breathing right now. So I treat web design and what-have-you as a hobby, although I often find myself getting carried away with it and forgetting my prime purpose. But hey, I am only human :-) If you are human too I look forward to working with you!
